Owner Story
My name is Jakin Walsh, and I was raised in the Grand Rapids, MI area, where I was immersed in the home service industry from a young age. My father has successfully operated a high-end residential painting business for nearly four decades, an endeavor that profoundly influenced my career path. During my high school years, I dedicated my summers to working for my father's business, gaining invaluable experience and a deep appreciation for the craft.
Since 2011, I have been engaged full-time in the residential painting sector, nurturing a long-standing ambition to start my own company. My exposure to concrete coatings while in the residential painting sector sparked a passion that eventually guided my career trajectory. Recognizing a need in the local market for high-quality, detail-oriented concrete coating services, I founded Walsh Concrete Coatings. Our mission is to infuse the concrete coating industry with the same level of precision and excellence that my father's business has brought to residential painting, setting new standards in the field.
